My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights/3 days as a mini weekday getaway. Watch you money here since the people in the cashier can't count. He actually gave us a total of $240 in casino play but this was the worst experience and we will not return. I told him this was the most unprofessional casino staff that I had ever seen and he offered to $50 casino play for our trouble, I went to bed furious. I then dressed and went down to the casino and spoke with the security manager who still could not explain how this happened or how the amount in question happened on my payout. I have never heard of such a thing in my life and I have played in casinos all over the country. They insisted it was all human error apologized but that I had to return $699.50. I said the cashier had scanned the tickets, counted the money, recounted the money in front of the supervisor and then counted it out again when paying it out. I said that I had not presented a ticket in that amount among the many tickets I gave the cashier and asked why they thought she had overpaid us? They said they had video but could not explain how the error had happened. Instead they said the cashier had overpaid us $699.50 and they wanted the money there and then. I thought it might have something to do with all the commotion next door. Then at 2:30 AM, we received a call from the front desk stating a security manager and manager were on their way up to speak with us. On this visit, we had a neighbor who was drunk and screaming at her husband/boyfriend for hours until past midnight. We had stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past and it is situated in the mountains of rural western Maryland.
